INTRODUCTION TO TRANSCRIPTION :-

Transcription is the art of listening to speech and converting it into a written document.The term transcription refers to the process by which video or audio resources are transferred into a text format for indexing, approachability or archival purpose. Transcription techniques are used in various spheres and different fields including law enforcement, musical performance and for various business purposes. Technological advances and inventions have made transcription works easier and more efficient by providing advanced ways to record the original material and to produce clear readable transcripts for business purposes.

A permanent written record of audio files provides an invaluable resource cards technical issues. It allows meetings and events to be searched for key terms and files. It is much quicker to read through a document than listening through the entire audio and listening to audio is als time consuming. The poor quality of audio could also be cumbersome and challenging to listen through but reading a well-written document is convenient. Transcripts never depreciate in value and get worn down or are always at risk of being lost The digitally written words last forever and can be used forever. Transcriptionist should understand the nuances and difficulties of audio files and should know how to handle the inaudible audio and do the diligence required in researching the proper names and nouns.

Asha Transcription Training Institute has been providing training in Medical Transcription since last 10 years in central part of India, Nagpur. It has successfully undertaken many batches with complete satisfaction of students in terms of training. Training compliance to HIPAA regulation. Apart from this we also take efforts in registering students with AHDI as RMT or CMT depending upon students’ interest.

To make sure student keep learning we take regular tests and question answer sessions to keep them up-to-date on theory and improve their transcribing skills. Our team members comprises of experience faculties with immense practical exposure which they share with students. We also arrange guest lectures for students for fine tuning their transcribing skills.

There are companies who keep in touch with us for fresh MT, students who are nearing completion of course get a fresh hand experience of live file exposure, by the time they successfully complete their course we hand over the Medical Transcription Certificate plus Experience Certificate. After successful completion of the course our students have taken up jobs of MT, editor, Trainer in various companies in different cities.
